PACU- prep and recovery of adult surgical patients. 10 hour Evening Shifts 1:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday. NO SCHEDULED Holidays or Weekends.

Seeking a positive-minded and solution-oriented Registered Nurse with the ability to work in a fast paced university teaching hospital. Needs knowledge of the nursing process along with social, behavioral, and physical knowledge of the current healthcare environment. Highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish cohesive working relationships with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team that foster optimal quality patient care.

Candidates for the Nurse Clinician IIM position on Weinberg 3: Prep and Recovery of Adult surgical patients must maintain active RN licensure in the state of Maryland. Requires a Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing and minimum of 2 years of strong Telemetry experience as a registered nurse. (PACU experience is a plus).

The Nurse Clinician IIM is responsible for:

  • Coordinating care for assigned patients to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes.

  • Providing evidence-based patient care based on the JHH nursing process, policy, procedures.

  • Participating and promoting departmental and hospital safety standards.

  • Ability to analyze data, synthesize information, and make judgments regarding patient care.

  • Providing leadership and direction to RNs promoting quality and excellence of care.

  • Promoting improvement in unit processes and systems to benefit patient care and achieve unit goals.
