Candidates for the Nurse Clinician IM position on the The Vascular Access Team must maintain active RN licensure in the state of MD. AA degree in nursing required. One year experience as a RN required.

ICU experience preferred. IV experience is preferred, but we will train the right applicant. Our team members become vascular experts and determine the most optimal access line for patients. Vascular Access Team nurses are trained to place IVs, Intraosseous lines, and PICCs while servicing the vascular access needs of patients and assisting with vascular education throughout the facility. We have positions available that service adult and/or pediatric populations.

The Nurse Clinician IM is responsible for:

• Providing evidence-based patient care based on the JHH nursing process, policy, procedures.

• Participating and promoting departmental and hospital safety standards.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

• Ability to analyze data, synthesize information, and make judgments regarding patient care.
