Nurse Clinician IIM Perinatal (JHH/Bayview)
The Nurse Clinician IIM for The Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (Bayview) will work 50% at JHH and 50% at Bayview, in a six week schedule. The manager has discretion to deviate from this schedule base on the needs of the hospital.
70/30 70% day, 7a to 7p and 30 percent night, 7p to 7a.
.36 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend
-Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing- preferred
-Eligibility for Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maryland (or compact state)
-Minimum of 1.5 years of Registered Nurse Experience in Labor & Delivery
-Anticipate the needs of and coordinate care for a group of complex patients to achieve clinical, financial and organizational outcomes
-Provide evidence-based care base on the nursing process, policies, procedures and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System
-Mentoring and managing others to promote quality, safety and excellence in care
-Work collaboratively with, and provides leadership for, a multidisciplinary Health care team to optimize team performance and patient outcomes
-Promoting and identifying quality improvement initiatives that are aligned with departmental and hospital safety and operational goals
-Identifying methods to promote cost-effective use of resources
