Nurse Coordinator- Electrophysiology
In collaboration with other clinical personnel, coordinates care for the electrophysiology pateint population under the direction/ supervision of the Sinai faculty electrophysiologists. The Registered Nurse is responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients within a clinic office setting, as well as transitions of care. The position directs and guides patient/ family education under the direction of the Provider. Collaborates with cardiologists and designated members of Cardiovascular Institute to execute key clinical priorities and ensure the highest standards of medical care are achieved. Coordinator will also be involved in research clinical trials, patient education, professional education and patient follow up.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Registered Nurse . Bachelor's of Nursing, required. Previous cardiac nursing experience (electrophysiolgy nursing experience preferred). 3 to 5 years of experience required.
