Responsible for directing the provision of nursing care on an assigned patient care unit on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. Supervises and monitors professional and non-professional staff, and ensures effective, safe and therapeutic nursing services to meet established Hospital and accrediting agency regulations and guidelines.

Full Time (40 hours)

Paygrade 90

Day Shift

8 hour shifts

BSN & MSN or masters in a related field required

Maryland RN licensure, related certification preferred

3-5 years OB experience required; leadership experience a must

CPR required (AHA)

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed; Works in area that may require contact with aggressive and/or combative patients
