Pay Grade RN

The OR Nurse Educator is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff within the Peri-Op areas, as well as the Department of Nursing. In the organization and administration of staff development efforts, the Nurse Educator applies nursing, adult learning, and other theories as appropriate. The Nurse Educator functions as an educational advisor to nursing personnel and as a facilitator for their continued development. The Nurse Educator reports to the Functional Director of Nursing/Designee. 5 years of Nursing experience, minimum of 3 years in the specialty area required.

Master’s degree from an accredited school of nursing, and coursework in curriculum development, evaluation, or adult education. Applicants without the required degree may be considered, per nursing guidelines.
